Way of the Danube
Sabin Dorohoi
Way of the Danube was the only Romanian film ever to be screened during the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, 2015. It received the grand prize at the Oscar-qualifying Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (USA), the Cinematography award at Capalbio (Italy) and the Young Public Award at CINEMED (France), and was selected for festivals around the world including the Palm Springs ShortFest, Nordkapp, Vilnius and the California Independent Film Festival.
Sabin Dorohoi is a film director and graduate of the Bucharest Film Academy. He has produced numerous short films and TV documentaries. Sabin is the founder of the production company WTS-Western Transylvania Studios. Clara (shot in 2022) will be his first feature film.
